Well, now you're one, kid. Pick up whatever axe or chainsaw you like. Just make sure to choose something you're strong enough to lift.
ITT: we think of a profession more manly than lumberjack.....I got nothing.

(´゚∀゚) LUMBERJACKS WITH CHAINSAWS FOR ARMS AND LEGS SO ALL THEY DO IS RUN AROUND AND SLICE TREES UP NIGHT AND DAY.
>>1251( ´_ゝ`) Pretty intense.
>>1251( `ー´)ノ Imagine a future without trees, future generations will thank us.
I'm here to pop bubble wrap and jack lumber and I'm all out of bubble wrap.
>>1257But when there are no more trees, there will be no lumberjacks. The absence of lumberjacks is a rather cruel fate to place upon future generations, if you ask me.

>>1257b-b-but but, if there are no trees, there will be no more lumberjacks, and that is terrible. Also, we won't be able to breath.

Today, I witnessed a real live lumberjack over at my neighbors' house. His target, once a majestic tree, had become an unsightly bore, and without a hint of doubt in his heart, he methodically took all its body. I stayed motionless in awe, finally working up enough courage to pick up, trembling, my cameraphone.
>>1536why did you name him trembling?
>>1537What I do with the vibrator function is not your business. It's not what you think.
They should make a cereal called LumberJacks, make it kinda like Apple Jacks, but made completely out of sawdust with axe shaped marshmallows. This already sounds tastier than Apple Jacks.

One of my favorite ’snacks’ in Japan is “goheimochi”(五平餅). It’s said that this simple dish (rice on a stick with a dab of sweet miso paste) was first conceived by an ancient Japanese lumberjack named Gohei. As the story goes (the one I like to believe), he’d been getting tired of cold onigiri and miso on even colder winter days for lunch. So with unlimited amounts of tree branches at his disposable, he decided to whittle a long, flat stick, pat his onigiri onto it, and cook it over an open fire. He then would put the miso paste on the onigiri after it had got warm and eat them both together. And there you have it, a meal concocted while lumberjacking that would be loved by generations to come. Thanks Gohei !

Featured here is Paul Bunyan (and Babe the Blue Ox), a bit of a folk tale in Minnesota. There is also a Paul Bunyan (and Babe the Blue Ox) in Oregon because, as it turns out, he is a company mascot similar to your Hardware Hank or your Howard the Duck.

>>2402While I can appreciate their love of Paul Bunyan I must say that that statue would be an insult to the sheer stature of Paul Bunyan whose axe was rumored to be able to fell entire forests with one mighty sweep.
