I just tried some juniper berry soda. Tastes kind of like ginger ale, but not as strong

I actually already looked up their site (which is how I found which nearby grocery store carries the stuff) and intended to try cucumber, but apparently they don't stock that flavor.

I had been thinking that maybe there was just something inherently wrong with cucumber as a beverage, but if it's actually as good as it sounds, I wonder what that cucumber pepsi shit did to fail so magnificently.

VIPPER has obviously not spent anytime in the sandbox. Cucumber is both refreshing and palate cleansing. As Meze, jajeek is an amazing way to clear and moisten the mouth after a day kicking doors. It washes the shit taste out and makes the other side dishes all taste better.

I can only imagine how refreshing a cucumber flavored beverage could be on a ruthlessly moondusted day, exhausted from VIPPING the mundane into the amazing.

The VIPPERs who can't imagine cucumbers as a beverage flavor are missing out. It's probably because you're used to seeing it in salads or something else vegetable-y. Remember, cucumbers are melons!

Try this: In a vegetable juicer, juice 1 cucumber (skin removed), 2 green apples, and one lemon. Combine this juice 50/50 with sparking water. Serve ice-cold. Ladies and gentleboon, I proudly present the most delicious and refreshing drink in the world.

Drinking the last little bit of this I had my mother ship to me in Corea. Refreshingly crisp with hints of cucumber and rose hips. Delicate without the overpowering taste of juniper found in most Gins. It balances well with most meals and is particularly suitable as an aperitif. Best served in my humble opinion chilled with a very slight splash of tonic.
