>>8338That's not a game.
>>8338THIS
Awful box art, awfully great game.
This and the sequels.
This game made me buy a DS in 2005. Wasn't disappointed.Kirby Superstar remake was really good too.Kirby Squeak Squad was disappointing unless you really like the idea of Kirby having a fursuit ability.
Pure VIP
QUITE LITERALLY THE GREATEST VIDEO GAME EVER MADE
>>8350Not as good as the Dreamcast version, though. I was disappointed at the lack of horribly-translated story-mode silliness, and the N64-style missile barrage.

>>8357I liked the DS version best out of the 3. My favorite DS game ever, too. Too bad sharing stages is such a goddamn joke.
>>8363Other quality DS games to try:Disgaea DS (warning: this game is like crack if you get into it)Shin Megami Tensei: Strange JourneyShin Megami Tensei: Devil SurvivorThe Ace Attorney seriesLoveplus (haven't played it myself, but I hear having a 2D girlfriend is GREAT)

I think I should (though I'm not sure) post more about what I like, because there's not nearly enough posts in this thread about that, and I'm sure that everyone will be interested because I am too. In particular I believe everyone would be interested in hearing my personal opinion about various computer games that I've been playing, since in my opinion impersonal discussions about facts are boring, make it hard for me (as an opinionated person) to participate, and in any case I don't think my wrists are rigid enough for me to do any of that.I like computer games so I need to make my own mark wherever computer games are mentioned, much as my dachshund makes its mark on a fire hydrant. It's really my mark because I own the dog, but I can't tell anyone for I might end up in a solitary jail cell.

where can I find these DS games?

>>8377I'd recommend Front Mission, Advance Wars or Fire Emblem over Disgaea personally.
TAIKO TATSUJIN NO DSUTOUCH DE DOKOBAN!
TAIKO TATSUJIN NO DSU
TOUCH DE DOKOBAN!
>>8378>>8386Have you played "The tanasinn chamber: Dungeon of Solitude"? I strongly recommend it for you!
Umihara Kawase Jun! Think of Bionic Commando, only with NO gunplay at all, and instead they upped the rope mechanics beyond all belief!
>>8410would I need that fancy looking button thingy to play it?

would I need that fancy looking button thingy to play it?
>>8410I tried this game out and I can't stand the controls for the newer game, but the original SNES one (the DS game comes with both modes) is superb. No fancy buttons needed.
>>8416I noticed no new control scheme. All you have is a button for jumping and a button for the rope. In the sequel L and R can be set to go diagonally, but it's not that useful since you can manually do that easily. The controller is a keychain that I didn't crop out of the image. It has nothing to do with the game. The only control complaint would be if you preferred the native SNES or PSX controllers more.

I have upgraded my NDS.
>>9111I can't play handheld games with emulator. It lacks some feeling.
>>9111Which Wacom's have screens?
>>9116The cintiq series. The 12" widescreen version costs $1000. This one is a discontinued 15" model I bought used.
Bangai-O
>>9119Is it VIP to post in thread without reading it first?
>>9122Actually, I'm afraid that a post consisting only of "Bangai-O" will always be VIP quality, no matter the context, so we will have to reprimand him another time.
>>9111Turn both screens sideways and play Hotel Dusk
My favourite action game for the DS, and my favourite in the series, I can beat all the levels without dying, but I've only made it to level 6 (out of 7) on one credit.
>>8410What on Earth is that thing on the right? Is it just a toy/model/keyring?
What on Earth is that thing on the right? Is it just a toy/model/keyring?
>>8448Extremely late reply here: I didn't mean to say the control scheme itself was different, just that the responsiveness felt different. To be specific, the newer one felt frustratingly sluggish. Of course, I could just be imagining things. It doesn't help that I suck at the game and can never get much momentum.
>>9261I really wish Metal Slug DS had multiplayer. My best Metal Slug memories are of running and gunning with a friend, it's much more fun that way. Although these days I don't have any friends to game with anyway...
>>9265I stated that it's a keychain, and it makes noises if you do the correct special move inputs. And it broke on the first day of use.キタ━━━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━━━ !!!!!>>9280I can't say I've compared the DS feel to the PSX feel, but I've noticed no differences from the SFC versions, save a minor screen scaling. But for sure it's nowhere as terrible as the PSP version. As soon as you throw one line you can tell the engine is broken. The DS collection is hailed as a perfect port of both, ignoring the large scaledown on the PSX version, but you can play it at full zoom if you want to enjoy the original resolution, although you can't see very far.
